I have been in back-and-forth hell with Apple on the Daily Cash bonus. Their refer-a-friend bonus is pretty clear: someone sends you a link, you apply for a card, make a purchase, you get $75.

My wife had absolutely zero friction getting hers. That made me think to check my own balance, as I had signed up a few days before hers. I checked; no bonus.

I reached out to Apple. I have so far had 10 chat-based contacts, an open case with both Apple and Goldman Sachs, two phone calls, and two promised phone calls that never happened.

I am learning that Apple chat based support is actually terrible.
